Pre-teen and teenage children who are hyper active need more regulation over their emotions and energy. They are already going through a lot of things as they are going to enter adolescent.
As a parent we have to help them to channelize their actions, energy and emotions. So, select activities for them carefully and prepare them in advance. Ask them for their opinion and give them space to choose their favourite activity.
Outdoor Sports
Outdoor sports are the great way to give direction to the child. If they are in their preschool age then you can play with your child for instance, ball, peekaboo, cycling etc. You also would like to enjoy to play with them.
For the young child football, volleyball, kabaddi, anything that your child has interest you can choose for them. They can play with their friends or can join the coaching program.
